Hillcrest Ranch Sunol LLC offers open house events every other month.  Visitors are welcome to hike up to the ranch or take a shuttle to enjoy: olive oil tasting, olive oil small mill demonstrations, soap making demonstrations, olive brining classes, sampling of baked goods made with EVOO, and a self-guided tour of the historic ranch.

Under century old heirloom Mission olive trees (using canopies if weather requires) one may share a meal at family style tables or at intimate Bistro tables. We provide a tour with history of the grove as well as guided tasting of premium organic oils.

Graced with volcanic ash at the base of Table Mountain, our  organic 400 acre estate's micro-climates allow us to offer robust, medium, and delicate intensity olive oils from the estate's heirloom California  Mission olives. We also offer certified organic antioxidant rich dried olive leaves for making cool or hot tea.

We have beautiful views of rice fields and almond orchards.  You can take a nice walk around our warming pond and one of our state of the art Solar Fields.

In our gift shop we have our family grown almonds.  Along with a wide variety of local foods and products.  A nice place to stop and see what Butte County has to offer.

We are growers and producers of Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  We have approximately 3,000 olive trees comprised of about 50 different varieties that are planted within an Oak Woodland.  We have an on-site olive mill which is used to produce our Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a tasting room in our mill building.  We are open by appointment only.

We are a diverse little family operation. We grow all of our produce right here on the farm, including wine grapes, chestnuts, apples, pears, figs, olives, persimmons and pumpkins. Our preserves, condiments, wine and custom sausages are made with our produce.

We raise Ostrich with a hatching facility so that people can see the ostrich from egg to adult. The Tour includes feeding the youngsters and education about these wonderful, ancient animals.  We also care for injured and abandoned birds.

We have Ostrich Oil products including lotions, soaps, health aids, and feather products, art work with eggs and shells, fresh eggs, and eventually lessons on how to produce art work.  We also feature a picnic area and an outdoor special event site for weddings, parties, anniversaries, etc.

We planted the vines in 2005, and now manage everything about the vineyard from pruning to harvest, make the wine, and take care of all associated activities right there on the property. We are open for regular wine tasting and sales every weekend from 12 to 5. Also, for a small fee - we offer private tours and tasting by appointment. In addition, we host private parties and smaller events.

123 Farm makes many products with the certified organic lavender we grow. These products include: Lavender, Rosemary and Tea Tree Essential Oil, Lavender lotion, sleep mist and body oils. We also sell Garlic in early summer (sold out for 2014) as well as Olive Oil, from our own olives in the late fall and winter.

We have a Farm Stay business, R&G Ranch Stay where guests can stay in a guest cottage, visit our Farm Stand, hike our property, learn about our organic olive farm and the production of olive oil (from tree to table). We also have a variety of farm animals and native plants.

Suzie’s Farm is located on 130 beautiful acres near the Tijuana Estuary, 13 miles south of downtown San Diego. Founded by Robin Taylor and Lucila De Alejandro in 2009, we are a USDA-certified organic farm that grows over 100 different types of crops per year. We host private tours and events year-round, and offer public opportunities to visit the farm on the second Saturday of every month and during our family-friendly events. Suzie’s Farm products are found in many area Farmers’ Markets, grocery stores and restaurants, and through its Good Farm Box, Farm Raiser and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs.

Since 2000, Camp Stevens Organic Garden has grown from a small kitchen garden into two, year-round, productive sites with about 2 acres under cultivation, providing spaces for reflection, inspiration and learning as well as physical nourishment for our guests, campers, and resident staff.

In 2009, we began farming another acre on nearby farmland. Our fields there include corn, garlic, greens, beans, onions, potatoes, cauliflower, and more throughout the year. We also raise egg-laying hens.

For over 40 years the Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch has provided visitors with a true farm experience.  Bates Nut Farm specializes in pumpkins grown right on the property weighing anywhere from 50 to 200 pounds. Throughout the year, Bates offers tours and educational talks to schools and organizations, in addition to ongoing special events and guest speakers.

Our farm, Live Earth Farm (LEF), established in 1996, is a 150 acre diversified, organic, family farm overlooking the Pajaro Valley in the Santa Cruz area of California. LEF runs a year round CSA, growing over 50 different fruits and vegetables surrounded by a native landscape of redwoods and oak woodland. LEF’s produce is directly marketed through local farmer’s markets, restaurants, a thriving web store, and a weekly CSA program. Education has always been a part of Live Earth Farm since its beginning, but in 2007 a separate non-profit entity, Farm Discovery was formally established to compliment and expand the educational programs at Live Earth Farm. We now host more than 2000 children on the farm each year for engaging farm-based, hands-on learning opportunities in a variety of formats.

It is not uncommon to spot great horned owls, foxes, coyotes, great blue herons and the endangered loggerheaded shrike in our fields.

We are currently working on developing our agritourism operation.  We have four hundred acres of certified organic pasture with free-range animals and animal products, which we sell on and off the farm.
