Hillcrest Ranch Sunol LLC offers open house events every other month.  Visitors are welcome to hike up to the ranch or take a shuttle to enjoy: olive oil tasting, olive oil small mill demonstrations, soap making demonstrations, olive brining classes, sampling of baked goods made with EVOO, and a self-guided tour of the historic ranch.

We are not just a tasting room, a visit to the ranch is an Adventure.  Your wine tasting is not complete without a self guided tour of the winery, mandarin, olive orchards and working cattle ranch.  Grab a glass of wine and enjoy it under the shade of our old oak grove next to the beautiful pond.

We breed Mini Nubian and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats and Maremma Sheepdog Livestock Guardian Dogs.

U-pick is open to the public every July and August for the pluot and tomato harvest.
Our hands-on garden classes run from April to September and are available to the first 14 families to enroll.

Groups of all ages enjoy an inspirational tour of our family farm. We explore the whole process of growing large scale vegetable crops, medium scale poultry and goats, and the radically simple 24 hour honor system vegetable market.

A Miniature Horse Farm which provides "hands-on" tours, educational presentations & classes for all ages & abilities interested in learning more about the Miniature Horse. Miniature stallions, mares & babies are available for viewing. Families, school groups, seniors, and organizations serving developmentally disabled clients welcome!

During the summer our camps for kids 3-17 are in full swing. We offer horseback riding camps, outdoor adventures, animal care, and gardening as part of our summer programs. The fall brings outdoor preschool, field trips, pumpkin patch, and campfire nights.

Seasonal products are occasionally available on-site. Products include lavender wands, honey, organic u-cut flowers, eggs, alpaca and sheep fleece.

Visitors to come and get a first hand feel of raising animals and different variety of birds. Also, experience being in a rural setting and able to see many types of wildlife in the area.

Two separate vacation rentals on rural property with pigs, chickens, fruit and vegetables. Providing u-pick privileges to guests for winter and summer vegetables, fruits and free range eggs with spectacular over-night accommodations.

We planted the vines in 2005, and now manage everything about the vineyard from pruning to harvest, make the wine, and take care of all associated activities right there on the property. We are open for regular wine tasting and sales every weekend from 12 to 5. Also, for a small fee - we offer private tours and tasting by appointment. In addition, we host private parties and smaller events.

Varietals grown and available for tasting and purchase include Albarino, Primitivo, Barbera, and Petite Sirah.

We are a working farm and produce stand located in Sloughhouse CA.  We are known for our famous Sloughhouse Sweet Corn, along with our seasonal festivals packed with activities and fun.  If you haven't had our famous corn, ask someone who has and they will tell you what you are missing.  We also have Choose and Cut Christmas Trees available starting the day after Thanksgiving and going until the week of Christmas.

For over 40 years the Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch has provided visitors with a true farm experience.  Bates Nut Farm specializes in pumpkins grown right on the property weighing anywhere from 50 to 200 pounds. Throughout the year, Bates offers tours and educational talks to schools and organizations, in addition to ongoing special events and guest speakers.

Suzie’s Farm is located on 130 beautiful acres near the Tijuana Estuary, 13 miles south of downtown San Diego. Founded by Robin Taylor and Lucila De Alejandro in 2009, we are a USDA-certified organic farm that grows over 100 different types of crops per year. We host private tours and events year-round, and offer public opportunities to visit the farm on the second Saturday of every month and during our family-friendly events. Suzie’s Farm products are found in many area Farmers’ Markets, grocery stores and restaurants, and through its Good Farm Box, Farm Raiser and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs.

Our farm, Live Earth Farm (LEF), established in 1996, is a 150 acre diversified, organic, family farm overlooking the Pajaro Valley in the Santa Cruz area of California. LEF runs a year round CSA, growing over 50 different fruits and vegetables surrounded by a native landscape of redwoods and oak woodland. LEF’s produce is directly marketed through local farmer’s markets, restaurants, a thriving web store, and a weekly CSA program. Education has always been a part of Live Earth Farm since its beginning, but in 2007 a separate non-profit entity, Farm Discovery was formally established to compliment and expand the educational programs at Live Earth Farm. We now host more than 2000 children on the farm each year for engaging farm-based, hands-on learning opportunities in a variety of formats.

Here at Scott River Ranch, LLC  we want to be your own personal farmer giving you a connection to our land and way of life. We current sell our Organic GrassFed and Finished Beef via Farmers Markets, online, local delivery and at the ranch. We also host ranch tours, private events and public events.  Our Ranch is preserved by Siskiyou Land Trust and the entire ranch is certified organic. We operate an Alpaca Ranch and Family Farm. Our activities include raising alpacas, producing eggs, and growing fruits, nuts & vegetables. We offer tours to individuals and small groups, including home schooled youth. Services available include: agisting & boarding, breeding, ranch consulting, ranch tours, start-up training and more.

Our products include alpaca fiber (and alpaca fiber products such as yarn, socks, other garments and novelties); and farm fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables in season.

Pleasants Valley Iris Farm is a family owned flower farm that is open to the public during the iris bloom season. The farm has potted irises for sale and also takes orders for bare root irises to be shipped in the Fall.  Located just minutes from I80 in Vacaville half way between San Francisco and Sacramento, it is in the perfect location for those looking for a day trip.

Visitors can enjoy the spectacular site of over 60,000 iris rhizomes in bloom while strolling down the wide grassy aisles that separate the many flower beds.  The farm is located in a lush valley surrounded by oak trees and rolling hills, making a beautiful backdrop for this gorgeous sight.  Cameras are encouraged and picnic tables are available for those who would like to bring a picnic lunch.

Potted iris plants, bare root iris rhizomes can be ordered and will be shipped in time for fall planting.

We provide guided and educationcal tours of our diversified family farm. You can interact with our dairy goats and during the "kidding" season hold and cuddle baby goats. See our sustainability practices in action and sample the diversity of our estate produced products.

Depending on the time of year we sell olive oil, goat milk soap, flowers, fruit, and vegetables.

In the nursery are plants introduced by Luther Burbank (1849-1926) and other ornamentals, fruit trees for sale. The cottage museum offers home-made preserves in the gift shop.

Sonoma Garden Park is public garden just east of the town of Sonoma. There are winding paths with flowers, trees, and demonstration gardens, a seasonal Saturday Harvest Market, garden plots for rent, a native plant nursery, demonstrations of green building, water, and energy, and much more!

We participate in Sonoma County Farm Trails open houses two weekends per year. We also regularly host social events for members as well as guests. We are available for special events, gatherings, bus tour stops (can provide lunch and visits with animals). Contact us for custom experiences.

We have a lavender labyrinth and pavilion area for weddings, parties, picnics, and other events. We do agricultural tours, highlighting regenerative organic agriculture practices, pollinators and planting for pollinators, and tips on growing lavender.

The Petaluma Pumpkin Patch and Amazing Corn Maze has over 5 acres of pumpkins, with all produce locally and sustainably grown by 4th generation Petaluma Farmer Jim Groverman, since 1993.  Wander our fields to find your perfect Halloween pumpkin or choose from specialty pumpkins that are on display.  Don't forget to visit the farm animals, climb straw mountain, enjoy the corn kernel "sand" box", or get lost in the 4 acre Corn Maze!  Free parking & Free General Admission.  We also offer corporate "team building" events/theme weddings/Birthday parties/and school field trips.  Have a Safe & Happy Halloween~ The Groverman Family.
