Hillcrest Ranch Sunol LLC offers open house events every other month.  Visitors are welcome to hike up to the ranch or take a shuttle to enjoy: olive oil tasting, olive oil small mill demonstrations, soap making demonstrations, olive brining classes, sampling of baked goods made with EVOO, and a self-guided tour of the historic ranch.

Organic certified EVOO (extra virgin olive oil):  Picholine/Mission EVOO and Manzanillo EVOO.  Soap:  baby soap (fragrance-free & gentle to skin) and gardener's soap (lavender-scented with lavender pieces).

Our gift shop is open during harvest season from mid November until January or when our mandarins are gone. We also offer local products including nuts, chocolates, olive oil and balsamic vinegar

We are growers and producers of Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  We have approximately 3,000 olive trees comprised of about 50 different varieties that are planted within an Oak Woodland.  We have an on-site olive mill which is used to produce our Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a tasting room in our mill building.  We are open by appointment only.

Suzie’s Farm is located on 130 beautiful acres near the Tijuana Estuary, 13 miles south of downtown San Diego. Founded by Robin Taylor and Lucila De Alejandro in 2009, we are a USDA-certified organic farm that grows over 100 different types of crops per year. We host private tours and events year-round, and offer public opportunities to visit the farm on the second Saturday of every month and during our family-friendly events. Suzie’s Farm products are found in many area Farmers’ Markets, grocery stores and restaurants, and through its Good Farm Box, Farm Raiser and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs.

Products: growing over 100 varieties of seasonal vegetables, fruit, edible flowers and herbs, pastured eggs, sprouts, micro greens, wheatgrass, dried teas and herbs, mushrooms, and merchandise (t-shirts, hats, stickers, etc).

Offerings: Interactive and educational tours for all ages, both open to the public and for private groups. Pick your own produce, plant your own seeds and taste things along the way! We love private events as well.

Our goal is to promote SLO County FARMsteading skills and practices via educational experiences, events and gatherings at pop-up FARMsteading classrooms held at local farms, ranches and Ag related venues.

We offer private tours of our farmstead dairy and creamery daily. The tours are a wonderful way to get to know our friendly herd of LaMancha goats and tour our dairy and milking parlor that were both built inside of the ranch's historic 100-year old barn.

The tours are 1-hour long and will give you a unique and personalized opportunity to see what’s happening inside of our milking parlor and view our creamery from the outside viewing window as guided by one of our Stepladder Creamery staff members. Tour guests will learn all about the cheesemaking process and conclude their tour with a tasting of the seasonal cheeses that we have available.

Tours from February - July, includes spending time with the farm's many baby goats aka "kids" that arrive in the Spring.

Good Land Organics is an exotic fruit farm that produces a variety of rare sub-tropical fruit. Our family run farm holds strong to growing all of our crops organically and have a strong loyalty for local business. We have begun to offer a series of agritours focused on a view into the coffee process from seed to cup, while also highlighting our other exotic fruit offerings.

Food, farming and nature exist in complex, interconnected socio-cultural, economic and ecological systems. Farm Discovery empowers kids and families to make these systems regenerative and healing for individuals, communities, and the natural world.

Our farm, Live Earth Farm (LEF), established in 1996, is a 150 acre diversified, organic, family farm overlooking the Pajaro Valley in the Santa Cruz area of California. LEF runs a year round CSA, growing over 50 different fruits and vegetables surrounded by a native landscape of redwoods and oak woodland. LEF’s produce is directly marketed through local farmer’s markets, restaurants, a thriving web store, and a weekly CSA program. Education has always been a part of Live Earth Farm since its beginning, but in 2007 a separate non-profit entity, Farm Discovery was formally established to compliment and expand the educational programs at Live Earth Farm. We now host more than 2000 children on the farm each year for engaging farm-based, hands-on learning opportunities in a variety of formats.

- Farm Discovery offers educational programs that inspire youth and families to transform their relationship to food, farming and nature through 9 different farm-based education programs for all ages.
