Our goal is to promote SLO County FARMsteading skills and practices via educational experiences, events and gatherings at pop-up FARMsteading classrooms held at local farms, ranches and Ag related venues.

LEF’s produce is directly marketed through local farmer’s markets, restaurants, a thriving web store, and a weekly CSA program. Join us for a Sonoma wine tour! Enjoy a close-up look at our Biodynamic vineyards, visit the fermentation facility, crush pad, and explore our barrel caves. The wine tour is approximately 45-minutes, including a special tasting of our Biodynamic and other award-winning wines.

Enjoy an afternoon in the coastal hills of Sonoma County. The guided tour will explain the history of the farm, take you through the nursery to pet the baby calves and learn how they are raised. Also, learn about the adult cows, how we protect the environment and then milk a cow by hand! Watch cows being milked in the milking parlor and then taste our European Style Organic Artisan Butter and new Creme Fraiche Cheese! We welcome visitors to our wildlife-friendly demonstration projects, educational gardens,  farm incubator and seasonal fundraising chef dinners.

Our mission is to inspire and motivate people of all ages, especially youth, to promote a healthy interplay between agriculture, nature and society through their own actions and as leaders in their communities.

Farm Stand open on Friday from 2:00pm- 6:00pm with seasonal vegetables. Also available: wreaths, wine, and some holiday gift boxes. Check website for classes and participatory activities. Summer camp for children. Farmstay coming soon.

We do weekly on-site farm stands, you-pick events, urban farm bike tours, field trips, private tours, workdays on the farm, special events, tastings and volunteer opportunities

A wide variety of sustainably grown fresh veggies, melons, flowers and herbs. Everything from heirloom tomatoes to zuchinni, carrots and melons can be found at our farm stands as the seasons change.

High Sierra Grass-Fed Beef, Poultry,eggs, locally raised farm honey, seasonal fruits and vegetables, lamb, pork, turkeys, local olive oils, lavender products, herbal products, garden vegetable starts. Most products are CCOF certified
